The race : Project P42 by Paslis
Our current
Mod of the Year crown holder has already been hard at work on something new in 2013 and Paslis turned around Project P42 in barely two months. The case's unusual design means it can house two PCs - great for a father and son LAN party duo.

The steel chassis should mean that the case is pretty bomb-proof and it looks pretty good too - we love the view from the rear with the inverted motherboards and its not every day you see a PC case with two power and two reset buttons. As usual with Paslis, the finishing is fantastic too and if you'd like to read the project through, head over to his
project log.
TRITON mod by Pennywise
CaseLabs are another cutting-edge case design company that has specialised in extremely large and very water-cooling friendly cases. However its Merlin SM8 case is a more traditional tower, but it's still just as modding and water-cooling friendly as forum use Pennywise has shown with his stunning-looking project TRITON mod.

The colours and detailing are superb - right down to the case feet, RAM heatsinks and SSD covers and for his sins, Pennywise's project was also featured on the front page of CPU magazine last month. Check out the
project log to see more.
That's all for this month. We'll be back with more guides, features and Mod of the Month soon.
